I’ve been using this location since November of last year, but my recent visit was exceptional. I met MeLisa, the manager, whose compassion and kindness really stood out. I am a buyer of defaulted storage units. I visit several facilities across the Southeast weekly. I visited Metro in Douglasville on 3/23 to pick up things from a storage unit. The manager who assisted me was friendly and helpful both on the phone and in person. I was impressed at how clean the property was. I ran self storage facilities for years and know how hard it is to keep one this neat and clean. Compared to the other facilities in the Atlanta area, this is certainly one of the ones that is better maintained than most! The lady who is the manager obviously cares about her facility, and I hope to do business there again in the future.

I was greatly assisted by Shantel. Prices are cheap and the customer service is up there.

Pretty decent storage facility. Seems well maintained and security is good. Storing long term in a large unit. They were one of the few places in town where I could find a 30×10 unit available. Side note: I have had several occasions where I needed to speak with the manger on duty, went by during normal business hours, and the storefront was locked with a sign saying that the manager was out in the facility and would be back at a certain time. On one of those occasions I had to return to the store 3 more times before anyone was in the store. Much later than the stated time.

She explained that she didn’t work at the Douglasville location but did an excellent job taking care of me ! I had about a two hour wait before she arrived but dealing with the lady at Austell made my wait much better , she was very nice and explained that someone would be arriving soon . Great team work and a good outcome .

Chris, The facility manager assistant me and I had a great experience with my check in. I would recommend anyone that needs storage to go by metro storage in Dville Ga. He took is time to explain to me all of the details of renting unit and checking out. I would definitely recommend metro storage to others if you need to store items they have pull up units drive-ins and climate control. The facility was clean and they require you to wear your mask before entering the building.

From the very beginning, they always explemify exceptional customer service. The inside of the store is always neat and clean with the organized supplies and materials much needed by the customers. Also property is well kept and the units are acceptable clean when renting. I will admit that I have used a previous company before but I was sold becoming a customer of Metro Storage Douglasville. So to rate metro storage would not be fair because it is only because of this employee that works here now, of which i still don’t even know her name, All I know is that she is the rudest person. I have ever encountered in my life at any establishment or personally. To think that she works with Daryl is crazy to me. Because they are total opposites. And I’ve never had a problem with Daryl. As hard as I can be to deal with sometimes. He has been patient and works with me. And I have nothing but good things to say about him. To make a long story short I tried to pay this employee my storage twice. I let it go The first time but this time it cost me $300-$500. First I called Sat.am to see what time they closed, she said 4pm. So at 330pm when i was on my way i called to let her know i would be there, i Couldn’t get anyone to pick up, so… I proceed to get there at quarter to 4 and she already had the door locked and had a total attitude with me from the minute. I walked in the door and I apologized profusely telling her. I was extremely sorry that I was running so late but I had to get this paid. It was very important.. With nothing but attitude, she proceeded to tell me that we needed to hurry up because she had an appointment at four thirty and she had to leave, what?, What wait a minute you told me you closed at 4 Now you tell me you close at four thirty so you lied to me?? Nothing but attitude from this woman. Well, there was a misunderstanding with the money and I was $10 short so I asked my boyfriend to go down the street to the atm. Oh that was a mistake because that was attitude worse than ever. Needless to say, she refused to take my $462 I lost out on $300-$500 over the weekend, but she got to her 430 appt. Btw, it was only 4:10pm at the point where She told me I would have to come back on monday. Daryl You’re not allowed to have any more days off!!

First off there is rarely anyone there to answer the phone even during business hours, and then when they leave out the office NO ONE is here to assist not even one person. You make communication with these people and they still act like they can not accommodate. I’ve been renting for a month and it’s the worst experience I’ve ever had with a storage company. I’d advise everyone to Go somewhere else that’s more people friendly and always have a person actually working!!

The office was closed a majority of the time for unknown reasons. I tried to cancel my rental unit in person multiple times and was met by a sign at the door that noted they were closed and would reopen the next morning. This went on for weeks. I expected more from this place since the cost is significantly higher than comparable units in the area.
