I had a very great experience at Metro Self Storage. I needed to get my furniture moved in within a short time frame since I had the U-Haul for a limited amount of time. I paid for my unit late at night around 1 so everything was last minute and on a time crunch because of our leak at home. The Facilities Manager, Carl, came in much earlier than the start time to make sure I had the key to access my unit. After all was said and done, I arrived at the U-Haul place 9:58 with 2 minutes left to spare. This would not have been possible if Carl had not gone the extra mile. The place itself is kept very clean and security is legit. I 1000% would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a storage unit.

I moved my mom from 3 bedroom home to senior apartment this Oct 2022. We used the Metro Storage facility in Hainesport NJ. The first impression when you pull in is how new, modern and immaculate the facility is kept. I think the most important thing I can comment on is the reception we received from Angela – the face of Metro. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Moving on top of downsizing your life as a senior is probably one of the most stressful events you’ll ever face. The ease of sign up, locks, insurance – all reasonably priced and worth it. We got a 10×15 unit to fit 2 rooms of furniture & years worth of boxed household items. The facility is bright, immaculate and easy to maneuver. I feel the security they have in place with gates, security cameras, lights is state of art. I highly recommend Metro Storage and will use them whenever I need temp storage

I totally loved that I could the rental process 100% online and how I was able to sign my documents all online too! I got my code and everything the day before I actually went to the unit. That was great. I also loved that I was able to easily get to the location and access my unit with ease and not have to go into an office and do anything. I just entered my code and walked into the building. My paperwork and lock was waiting for me inside the unit. Super, super easy! Not to mention, the indoor building is super clean, has a very pleasant and welcoming feel, and feels ‘safe’. Couldn’t believe it had restrooms as well! What a big plus. Overall, the process was seamless, easy, and super convenient. Other companies should really take on this model. Really enjoyed my experience. Thank you! : )

The floors are finished with an epoxy sealer making them nice, clean, and easy to maneuver furniture in. Great experience thus far!

Booked a unit using the website. It was quick and easy. On the website I selected that I have my own lock & insurance. The manager called me and stated I must use their lock & insurance. This is not what I selected online. I refused to change what I selected and the manager offered to cancel my unit. I agreed, because I do not want to do business with a company that uses false advertising & mandatory up selling to make a dollar. They was quick to my money. My husband went in to inquire about storage rates. The obnoxious man, sitting directly to the right as you walked in was RUDE! He ranted on and on about me temporarily parking right in front of the building while I was trying to tend to our toddler who was crying in the back seat. Mind you, NO ONE was at the facility other than the man and another woman behind the desk and this all happened within 45 seconds of my husband walking in the door. My husband couldn’t believe his actions and left the establishment. Whoever the man was who worked May 21st around 2-3pm needs CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING. Not sure if he was the parking lot patrol or supposed to sell storage units but his attitude was TRASH! I would never hire him to sell anything to anyone. His attitude alone made us take our business elsewhere. If you’re reading this review, take your hard earned money elsewhere. Customers are more likely to give bad reviews than good ones. With someone like the man working on May 21st behind the desk,this establishment will continue to lose customers and get bad reviews.
