An amazing company – but first my back story for how I ended up with Metro Storage. I am currently living in Switzerland and needed to store my belongings for the past three years. Unfortunately, three years ago, I initially chose a public storage company and a few months ago I was told that my rental fee would be over $300/months! In addition, no one would be on site. That’s when I found Metro Storage and WOW what a very different experience!! Mike and Melissa were on site and met all of my needs on a day when I was especially stressed out! I’m a 73-year-old Nursing Professor managing all of this alone. Mike and Melissa were so kind, patient and accommodating. I even needed to switch to a different location and they made that happen seamlessly. I am now a devoted customer of Metro Storage!

Super easy and quick to rent online and move in! 09/2024: Unfortunately, the monthly rental cost has been increasing and we pay 40% more than our friends who rented about 2 weeks before us. The costs are on the higher end and a few times the gate or doors have been broken/inaccessible. The climate controlled units are still great themselves though.

Can tell he’s very happy in his job which gives good marks for Metro Storage. I am a previous customer and will come back again in the future! Update 1.5 years later. Now just moved out of my storage unit..shortly after I had already paid for the month… It was just beyond the 7 day time period after rent was due, where after that apparently they can no longer reimburse me, but Mike went to bat for me and then they did somewhat, so that helped!… My family has used this storage company too and I will use it again when need to..

Paid my bills at metro storage eden prairie today. My friend Magic Mike asked if it was ok to put the trainee Johnathan on the phone to take the 2 payments for 4 units. I said sure so Johnathan got on and handled it just fine for a newbie. Went over there later to get a couple things out of one of the units and then stopped in the office to say hi to Mike and meet Johnathan and and we all shot the bull for a while. Good people. The manager at the Eden Prairie, Minnesota facility, Mike, is organized, friendly, accommodating, and an asset to Metro. The other employees I worked with were all highly-trained, knowledgeable, and helpful. They and Mike helped make my move in and out a breeze. The facility is spotlessly clean, conveniently located off a freeway exit, and easy to access.
