Lake Forest, IL—July 12, 2020—Metro Storage LLC recently announced the purchase of a parcel of land at 3021 124th Avenue in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, and has started construction on a state-of-the-art, 100% climate-controlled self-storage facility offering 908 units encompassing a total of 95,000 rentable square feet (RSF).
“The exceptional location of this property combined with enclosed, heated, drive-through storage options and state-of-the-art features will provide our customers with convenience and comfort throughout the year but especially during Minnesota winters,” said Marty Gallagher, President of Metro Storage LLC.
The newly constructed facility will be strategically located in a vibrant retail corridor with a heavily trafficked east/west thoroughfare and tremendous exposure from Highway 10. Best-in-class features will include secure, controlled access, 24-hour video surveillance, exterior LED lighting, and storage-to-office communication speakers located throughout the facility.
A large modern office will showcase security features and provide an ample selection of moving boxes, packing supplies, and locks. “We look forward to the opening of Coon Rapid’s newest storage facility and serving the fast-growing residential and business communities surrounding our 8th store in the Minneapolis market,” said Gallagher. Construction is scheduled to be completed in the Spring of 2021.
