Message to Customers

All Metro Self Storage stores remain open for business. Access to storage units is open during scheduled access hours. All store rental offices are open to customer access with safety access protocols in place. These protocols may change depending on local, state or federal requirements.

Safety Protocols at All Metro Self Storage Locations

Access to Store Rental Offices 

  • If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please do not enter the rental office.
  • Wearing a mask or face covering is voluntary while in the rental office.
  • Recommend maintaining social distance of 6 feet.
  • We may limit the number of customers in the rental office.

Access to Elevators

  • Maintain social distancing. Recommend only one related party, or one individual is allowed on an elevator at a time.

Access to Property (not Rental Office)

  • If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please do not enter the property.
  • Wearing a mask or face covering is voluntary while on the property.
  • Recommend maintaining social distance of 6 feet.



Conducting Business with Metro Self Storage

Whether you want to rent a unit, or pay a bill, it’s safe and easy with Metro Storage. We have “contact-free” operations and health and safety protocols in place at all Metro locations.

Get Information or Rent a Storage Unit

  • Visit the Metro Storage website (www.metrostorage.com) for unit sizes and prices and to rent a unit online.
  • Call the local store number or (888) GO-METRO. One of our storage consultants will answer your questions or help you find the storage unit that’s right for you.

Make a Payment

Telephone:

  • Call your local Metro store, follow the prompts to make a payment ($3.95 fee applies.)

Online

In Person

  • Checks and money orders can be dropped off through the payment slot at the office of your storage location or given directly to the store manager.
  • Cash payments are accepted. 



Health and Safety

We are carefully monitoring the situation and following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), regulatory agencies as well as local health officials, and in addition to the store safety access protocols outlined above, have implemented the following measures at all Metro stores:

  • Metro employees will wear appropriate personal protective equipment based on local, state or federal guidelines.
  • Hand sanitizer is available in all rental offices that allow customer access.
  • Plexiglass partitions have been installed at all counters in the rental offices.
  • We have increased the frequency of cleaning to focus on addressing surfaces that are commonly touched frequently.
  • We are reinforcing with our staff frequent and thorough hand washing continuously throughout the day.
  • Any employee showing any signs of illness is instructed to stay home, including if the employee has sick relatives in their home.

We request that you do not enter our offices if you or someone in your residence is exhibiting signs of any illness.

We will continue to monitor the information from our public health officials and follow guidelines and recommendations. As the situation evolves, we will make adjustments as necessary. This may include modifying office and access hours. Please check our website here for the latest information on your particular store.
